The Denver Dance Starz Competition Team is a close-knit group of approximately 20 dedicated dancers, ranging in age and experience. Made up of some of the studio's most committed and driven students, our team brings together dancers of different ages who share a passion for dance and a desire to continually improve.

That dedication has opened the door to some incredible opportunities! Our competition dancers have traveled to New York City to participate in the All Star Dancer Summer Dance Workshop and even flown internationally to attend the International Dance Festival in Sydney, Australia.

Throughout the years, our dancers have also had the opportunity to perform at a variety of exciting and prestigious venues and events, including:

• Disneyland
• Walt Disney World
• Westminster Mall
• FlatIron Crossing
• Thorntonfest
• Children's Museum

These experiences give our dancers the opportunity to perform, grow as artists, experience new places, and create lifelong friendships and memories along the way.

Interested in joining the team? Auditions are held annually, and we are always excited to welcome new faces! Competition team placement is determined by our experienced competition staff through a thorough evaluation process. Final class and team placements are made by the staff to ensure each dancer is placed appropriately based on their abilities, experience, and readiness.

Our competition team is about more than trophies and performances. It's about dedication, personal growth, teamwork, and pushing ourselves to achieve things we never thought possible.
